Seasonic PRIME TX ATX 3.1 1600W

The Seasonic PRIME TX ATX 3.1 series builds on all the great features of the PRIME TX platform with added ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 compatibility. The 1600W and 1300W power supplies now feature built-in 12V-2x6 connectors, digital fan control, and Japanese electrolytic capacitors with a 105°C rating to ensure stable power delivery and long-term reliability. All of these qualities make these power supplies ideal for use with the latest high-performance graphics cards and processors on the market. Seasonic PRIME ATX 3.0 Series power supplies originally came with 12VHPWR cables. After upgrading to the ATX 3.1 standard, we started replacing them with new 12V-2x6 connectors.

Hydrodynamically cooled fan bearing
High-performance hydrodynamic bearing (FDB) fans are designed with the shock absorption benefits of oil in mind. They are extremely reliable and generate significantly less noise and heat during operation than ball bearing fans. Lubrication of the bearing surface reduces friction and vibration and therefore reduces overall energy consumption. With lighter, quieter rotation and a robust design, this reliable technology also significantly extends the life of the fan. When the fan shaft rotates, high-pressure oil moves along the grooves of the bearing sleeve, forming a thin layer of lubricant between the bearing surfaces. As speed increases, the dynamic oil pressure increases and the shaft lifts off the bearing, allowing smooth and easy rotation. The herringbone shape of the grooves promotes efficient lubricant distribution and prevents leakage.
